Market CSA Program

Instead of receiving a weekly pre-packed CSA box, as is most typical of CSA programs, Market CSA members pick up their produce each week at one of the two farmers’ markets we attend: the St. Paul Farmers' Market and an on-farm market in Cannon Falls. This program gives members maximum flexibility and choice. Want to choose which veggies you receive each week, and in what quantities? Are you out of town frequently and thus unable to routinely pick up your CSA box at a designated time? A Market CSA Share may be a good fit for you.

How it works

You support our farm by purchasing a share of the harvest at the start of the season when cash is tightest for farmers like us. In exchange, we provide you with a gift card valued higher than the amount you paid for your share. Discounts increase with greater and earlier investments. You may use the card at the St. Paul Farmers’ Market all Saturdays from May through October and Sundays from May through September; local members may use the card at our on-farm market Friday afternoons from May-November.

After selecting your produce, we will swipe the gift card just like we would a credit card, resulting in a drawdown of your gift card balance with each purchase. You can buy as much or as little as you want each week, but the card expires at the end of the market season. We will have your cards available for pick-up at the first markets of the season, so just stop by, give us your name, and we'll give you your card.

Signup will be available in mid-late December. Check back soon, or sign up for our market email list to be notified when shares are available for purchase

Work trade options available

Are you interested in helping staff our stall at the St. Paul Farmers' Market in exchange for your Market CSA Share? We're looking for one or more Farmers' Market Assistants for the 2019 season. More info can be found on our employment page. For folks that live near the farm, we are also looking for work-trade help on Thursdays and Fridays as we harvest, wash, and pack produce for our markets. Send Dana an email to inquire:
